Similar to last year, the Madeira Territorial Command (GNR) took part yesterday, the 12th of June, in a seabed clean-up operation in the port of Porto Moniz.
According to their social network pages, the GNR states that this initiative, promoted by the Porto Moniz City Council, aims to “raise awareness and educate people about the need for good environmental practices.”
The initiative, which included the collaboration of several entities, collected approximately one tonne of rubbish.
