Yesterday a new habeas corpus case was filed at the Court of Funchal.
The FunchalNews reported that this request, was under consideration by the Criminal Investigation Judge of Funchal. The case was filed by a young passenger who arrived at Madeira Airport on the 29th of May. The young man, a student, was immediately confined at Vila Galé in Santa Cruz and yesterday demanded his release.
According to information, the young man underwent a Covid-19 screening test, which proved negative and he was released this afternoon.
