The President of the Regional Government has confirmed that he has already submitted a 117-step plan to reverse the UK's decision to remove Madeira from its 'Safe to Travel - Green Corridor List.' In a statement he said that 'the epidemiological situation in Madeira cannot be compared to the continental one.'
The Vice-President of the Regional Government, Pedro Calado hopes that on the 21st of June or before, the United Kingdom will include Madeira on its safe to travel green list, especially as the region only has 70 active cases at the moment.
