This morning the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Pedro Ramos, confirmed that the Delta coronavirus variant already represents 20% of the samples sent by the Autonomous Region of Madeira to the Ricardo Jorge Institute.

The test is mandatory for both outbound and return journeys, as per the new rules issued on the 18th of June 2021, by the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection.
