The Covid-19 outbreak in Porto Santo, which peaked at 91 cases, and had more than three hundred people under surveillance during mid August, is now under control, confirmed Pedro Ramos, the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection.

According to a hospital source, the senior citizen was vaccinated on the 12th of January 12th with the first dose of Pfizer vaccine, after being admitted to a residential home in Funchal three days earlier.
