The Portuguese Government has confirmed that from the 15th of September, all restaurants, cafes and pastry shops located within a 300 metres radius from a schools will only be allowed to admit groups of four people or less.
The Ministerial Council approved a set of measures that apply from the 15th of September, the day when the country enters a ‘State of Contingency’ due to the pandemic situation.
Within the governments ‘return to class’ initiative, which takes place between the 14th and 17th of September, they are implementing what is known as a ‘re-adaptation of the functioning of schools to the new health reality’ and confirmed that all educational establishments will have contingency plans which include the use of personal protective equipment and protocols for dealing with suspected cases and possible coronavirus outbreaks.
