A rental car left the road this afternoon, around 15:30, in the area of the Fanal intersection.
According to DIÁRIO, two Italian citizens were in the vehicle, a man and a woman, both under 30 years old. The driver suffered minor injuries, including abrasions, and was assisted at the scene by a witness. Despite the situation, the occupants did not want to call the fire brigade, so there was no intervention by the rescue forces.
The car had to be winched out of the gully.
