The Regional Government has updated the rates of the Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products (ISP), as part of the process of “unfreezing” the mitigation measures applied to fuels.
The diploma set new values for the tax on the 30th of April. Thus, the ISP rate on unleaded gasoline is now 448.49 euros per thousand litres, while road diesel is set at 300.55 euros per thousand litres. Colored and marked diesel, used mainly in agricultural activities, is subject to a tax of 46.90 euros per thousand litres.
The revision reflects recent fuel price developments and is part of the regional executive’s strategy to gradually withdraw the tax support introduced to mitigate the impact of rising energy prices. The objective, according to the diploma, is to balance the protection of families and companies with the promotion of more sustainable consumption patterns.
