A 30-year-old tourist was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash this afternoon on the Via Rápida, in the Caminho do Trem area, in Funchal.
The tourist suffered multiple serious injuries, including an open fracture to one of his legs and trauma to his knees.
The victim was evaluated by EMIR and the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters and was referred to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital, where he was admitted to the emergency department in a serious condition.
