Traffic chaos ensued this morning at Ponta de São Lourenço, in Caniçal. A bus with tourists was even blocked in Ponta do Rosto, due to traffic. So much so that the police had to be called in to help relieve the situation.
According to local newspapers, many tour companies have expressed their reluctance and difficulties in visiting the area due to bad parking and large influxes of tourists.
