The Judiciary Police was called to investigate the death of a man in the parish of Santo António, last weekend.
The man was found with what is possibly two self-inflicted gunshot wounds, with the police unable to find any evidence that any third party was involved in the case.
According to a statement, there is no suspicion of foul play. The case has left the man’s family and neighbours very upset.
Interestingly, the man’s age was described as being between 56 and 62 years old.
