The 52-year-old man suspected of murdering his partner last Wednesday has been discharged from hospital and has now been detained by the Judicial Police (PJ).
According to a brief statement, the murdered woman was assaulted for ‘futile reasons’ and beaten over the head with an iron bar.
The case continues on Monday the 4th of November.
The woman’s two children are now in the custody of their aunt.
