Three lost hunting dogs have been rescued by the Forest Police in Paul da Serra.
With the collaboration of the Regional Directorate of Veterinarians, it was possible to return the animals to their owners.
In this sense, the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation appeals to hunters who lose their animals to report what happened to the Forest Police, providing them with their microchip numbers to speed up identification and return. The Forestry Police use a microchip reader to scan all hunting dogs.
Likewise, a spokesperson for the Forestry Police asks if anyone finds a lost dog in one of the hunting areas to contact them immediately.
