Two couples, and a mother and her daughter were evacuated this morning after a wall collapsed on Rua do Areeiro, in São Martinho.
According to an official Social Security statement, “there are a total of six people who were left homeless, after the episode of collapse of a wall in the Areeiro area, in São Martinho. Two couples, both without children, and a mother and older daughter are now properly accommodated and well. Naturally, they are apprehensive about the situation, but Social Security is doing everything possible to minimise the shock and provide the necessary care and comfort to those affected.”
