EasyJet will start operating its twice-weekly Funchal-Amsterdam route from the 5th of November. The airline already has 12 international connections departing from its airport each week.
According to the General Director of EasyJet Portugal, José Lopes,
“The direct connection from Funchal to Amsterdam is important, as it diversifies the destinations EasyJet provides for its Madeiran population. We want to make it easier for tourists from other parts of Europe to visit Madeira, it is an island whose beauty can never be forgotten.”
The company today put on sale a set of new routes for the 2024/2025 winter season.
