Having caused a sensation last week by being seen next to a tent in Funchal. The Funchal tent man has confirmed that he was only testing the tent and that it had only been up for ten minutes.
After being accused of sleeping in the street, the unknown man was keen to clear his name and categorically stated that he had not spent the night in his tent on a public pavement.
