The Judiciary Police (PJ), through the Criminal Investigation Department of Madeira, with the collaboration of the Criminal Intelligence Unit, arrested a 58-year-old man who was wanted by Italian authorities to serve his sentence last week.
The PJ further confirmed that the “detainee will be presented to the competent judicial authorities for processing, assessing the extradition request and debating whether he should be imprisoned until extradited.”
