Those arrested under the ‘Traveller’s Route II’ operation will be heard again this afternoon in Madeira.
Contrary to what was planned, those detained under Operation ‘Traveller’s Route II’ ended up not going to the mainland yesterday, where they would be subject to the first judicial interrogation at the Court of Criminal Instruction of Loures.
However, as confirmed to local newspaper, JM, by the presiding judge of the District of Madeira, Filipe Câmara, yesterday, near the end of the afternoon, four of the five detainees in this operation were admitted to the premises of the Criminal Investigation Court. There, they will only have been identified by the judge, due to the strike of court employees over overtime. Court employees are now working to rule and finish at 17:00. Therefore, the first hearings will be held today.
