A new scam is circulating on the WhatsApp messaging service.
As Correio da Manhã reported today, this is a fraudulent scheme in which ‘hackers’ impersonate TikTok recruitment employees.
The invitation, reports the same source, arrives through a WhatsApp message and the task is simple: leave a ‘like,’ a comment and follow the requested accounts, with the promise of a monetary reward, which can reach several hundred euros per day.
The authorities have already warned that this is a fraudulent scheme, and users should not respond and should choose to leave targetted groups.
