“The state of disrepair of the city’s roads is a disgrace, but it’s been a shame for 8 years.” Stated Cristina Pedra at the ordinary session of the Municipal Assembly today, in response to criticisms of the state of the capital’s streets.
She went on to say that the Chamber has budgeted 5.5 million euros for the recovery of the city’s roads, a project that starts next semester. Furthermore, the CMF will hire more staff which will represent a further investment of 1.5 million euros.
