Given the weather forecasts for the next few days, the Funchal City Council has decided to move the “Fado Funchal” initiative to the Baltazar Dias Theatre.
Given the limitations of the space, those interested in attending the Fado Funchal shows should purchase their ‘free ticket’ from the box office of the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre.
Each person can only collect a maximum of 4 tickets, and distribution is ensured on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are three days of music, from February the 18th to the 20th(Thursday to Saturday), totalling six free concerts (two per day). One at 7:30 p.m., the other at 9:00 p.m.
18th, Mónica Pinto and Luís de Matos will be performing.
19th Rosa Madeira and the Madeira Fado Association (with several singers)
20th Ricardo Martins and Contratempo will take the stage.
The initiative is from the Funchal City Council with the collaboration of the Madeira Fado Association.
