It is known that the PSP started their search on Christmas Eve, as the wind had prevented drones from being launched on Saturday.
As you can imagine, his family is desperate to find him and has issued a plea across their social media platforms, asking people to come forward if they have any relevant news about his possible whereabouts.
Rui was last seen wearing black trousers and a blue jacket.
