The President of the Government, Miguel Albuquerque, today visited the refurbished hotel unit Sentido Galoso, Caniço de Baixo. While talking to reporters, the President said he believes that tourism figures will reach 10 million overnight stays (hotel level) in 2023.
He went on to say:
“I hope that we will continue to focus on tourism in three essential areas: Firstly, to continue to adjust the price according to the quality offered. Secondly, improve the quality offered, and lastly, improve workers’ wages, depending on the results presented.
