According to JM, a woman was stabbed in the stomach and upper limbs this afternoon, after becoming involved in an altercation with another person.
The incident took place in the Cruz area of Ribeira Brava, where the victim received immediate help by the EMIR medical team before being transported to hospital.
The Public Security Police (PSP) are investigating the incident.
