A high-speed boat of a type commonly used to transport drugs was seized off Madeira today, the 26th of September.
The vessel, which has four engines, was towed to the pier beneath Madeira Airport and is in the custody of the National Maritime Authority.
Bruno Teles, the authority’s commander in Madeira, told DIÁRIO that further details would be provided in due course.
