The Citizen’s Shop on Avenida do Infante continues to operate on a limited basis following a breakdown of its air-conditioning system.
As JM reported last Friday, the authority responsible for the facility said that the necessary procedures to repair or replace the equipment were already underway and that the problem was expected to be resolved “as soon as possible.”
The Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira said that, to protect the comfort and well-being of staff and visitors, only essential services remain available at the premises. These include the Citizen Space counters for the Digital Mobile Key, the DGRM counter, DRAP passport services by appointment, AIMA, DRAJ Citizen’s Card services and the Business Formalities Centre (CFE).
The other organisations based at the Citizen’s Shop are not currently operating from the premises. However, they continue to serve the public at their own offices, ensuring that access to their services is maintained.
