Yesterday, Judiciary Police (PJ)Inspectors carried out a series of searches at the premises of the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructures and the Institute of Mobility and Transport. Today, the PJ searched the offices of the Municipality of Santa Cruz.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructures told reporters that yesterday, the Judiciary Police conducted investigations at its offices and at the Institute of Mobility and Transport. He stated that throughout the proceedings, municipal staff provided all requested clarifications and information, fully cooperating with the competent authorities and strictly complying with the law.
The Santa Cruz City Council confirmed that the “investigation is ongoing following a complaint to the PJ. The City Council of Santa Cruz, through its services, is providing all the information required, and there is no other information of public relevance to be disclosed,” added the Regional Secretariat.
According to DIÁRIO, mobile phones were seized during the search.
