Airport Inoperability Generates Anger

Dozens of flights have been cancelled or diverted, and with it, a revolt among passengers.

Although flights are being rescheduled, often several days after the booked flight, many travellers are expressing their anger at the inconvenience and disruption to their lives.

One of the passengers who cannot contain his anger is Madeiran socialist deputy Carlos Pereira. The parliamentarian in Lisbon returned to social networks to criticise the Government of Montenegro for the lack of response to improving Porto Sato airport so that it can be used in situations like this with passengers then connecting to Madeira via the Lobo Marinho service.

Wind conditions are expected to improve tomorrow (Sunday) and worsen again on Monday.
