Starting today, January, the 22nd, the SIGA network, which includes public transport operators CAM, Horários do Funchal, and SIGA Rodoeste, is offering new pre-purchased tickets designed especially for tourists.
With this new offer, the Daily, Regional Tourist, and Aerobus tickets are now available, reinforcing, according to TIIM, the commitment to simpler, more flexible, and economically advantageous mobility for those visiting the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
These tickets are a practical alternative to buying tickets on board, allowing for better travel planning and encouraging the use of public transport.
Among the new options, the Daily Ticket stands out, offering unlimited travel within purchased zones on regular public transport in the region, excluding the Aerobus service, for one, two, three, five, or seven days. For those exploring the whole island, the Regional Tourist Ticket is the best choice, providing unlimited travel across the Autonomous Region of Madeira, including the Aerobus, for the selected validity period. The Aerobus Pre-purchased Ticket, valid for a single trip in either direction, makes it easy to connect between the airport and key destinations.
All tickets are purchased in advance and loaded onto the GIRO ticket card, and are on sale at the SIGA service desks and participating Payshop agents.
Detailed information on the conditions of use and the applicable tariff can be found in the annex or on https://siga.madeira.gov.pt/.
