An earthquake registering 2.3 on the Richter Scale was recorded at 01:36:29 this morning,
According to preliminary records from the IPMA’s national seismic network, the quake occurred southwest of the Desertas Islands, less than 100 kilometers from Funchal, at a depth of 4 kilometers.
This is the seventh earthquake recorded since the 4th of November in the Madeira Region.
