The release of a homeless man suspected of more than fifty thefts in Funchal is generating strong controversy across the internet.
The PSP caught the suspect while committing a crime in the Old Town, Funchal, but due to insufficient evidence for the other crimes, the court ordered him to present himself at the police station once a week.
