The price of houses in Funchal continues to rise.
According to the most recent study by Idealista, Portugal’s leading portal for buying and selling houses, buying a property in the Madeiran capital now costs 3,907 euros/m², above the regional average of 3,684 euros/m².
According to the data, Funchal ranks as the second most expensive district or autonomous region capital in the country, just behind Lisbon.
