The French Naval Frigate ‘Courbet’ arrived in Funchal harbour this morning and will remain here until the 23rd of October.
Tomorrow, October the 20th, the ship’s commander, Captain Arnaud Richard, will officially greet local entities. This will be followed by an official lunch on board.
As part of this stopover, according to the consulate, the defense attaché of the French embassy in Lisbon, Frigate Captain Stéphane Boubeker, and the embassy’s defense mission, Jean-Louis Corrente, will travel to Madeira.
