Several reports have been logged about a drug addict on Rua Carvalho Araújo, Funchal. It’s stated that drugs are being consumed during the day in a tourist area close to several hotels.
According to reports, a young homeless man is using the concrete benches as his makeshift home in the garden area at the beginning of the street that intersects with Avenida do Infante and Rua do Favila.
The case has worried residents and tourists as the young man is frequently seen administering drugs.
