Public Transport Affected on August 18th

Public transport users in Madeira will face significant disruptions on Monday, the 18th of August, due to the holding of two workers’ plenary sessions that will affect the normal functioning of the main operators in the Region.

The first period of disturbances will take place between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, when the plenary of SIGA Rodaeste workers will be held. The meeting, lasting four hours, will affect one of the busiest periods, namely those who need to travel during the morning and early afternoon.

Additionally, users of Horarias do Funchal will also face difficulties between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm, when the second plenary will take place.

Madeira’s public transport network will be affected from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm.

The National Union of Drivers and Other Workers (SNMOT) recognises the inconvenience that this situation will cause, and asks for understanding in the face of these inevitable constraints.
