Yesterday, the cruise terminal of the Port of Funchal was the scene of a health emergency exercise, as part of FUNCHALEX’25, which aims to test the Municipal Emergency and Civil Protection Plan (PMEPC) of Funchal.
The drill was developed by the Health Authority, in close coordination with the Administration of Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM, S.A.), with the aim of testing and enabling the response of the entities when faced with a suspected Ebola virus infection in a port and tourist environment.
