The Municipality of Santana approved yesterday, in an executive meeting, the exemption of licensing fees to the pharmaceutical company that will produce medical cannabis. According to Dinarte Fernandes, this is the “largest private project the municipality has ever handled.”
According to the mayor, speaking to JM-FM radio, the unit approved by INFARMED will be installed in the Santana business park and will create 80 jobs.
The municipality’s financial contribution to the project is 16 thousand euros.
