An earthquake registering 4.2. on the Richter scale was recorded by the seismographs of the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA), at 01:09 this morning, 250 kilometers west of Porto Moniz.
According to information provided by the Regional Civil Protection Service, there is no indication that the earthquake was felt.
