A demonstration is being held in Funchal to mark the third anniversary of the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and 11 years of Russia’s war against Ukraine. The initiative takes place on Monday the 24th of February.
Demonstrators are asked to meet at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre at 18:30 and then walk to the Sé Cathedral, in the centre of Funchal.
Current posters ask everyone to participate in the demonstration. “February 24th: Let’s support Ukraine, let’s unite for victory.”
