An earthquake registering 2.1 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday night south of Câmara de Lobos.
According to the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA), the quake occurred at 21:48 and had an unrecorded depth.
The shock would not have been felt by the population
