The Public Security Police (PSP) has carried out another raid in Old Town, Funchal.
This action by the Funchal Police Division resulted in arrests, drug seizures, and return of a vulnerable person to an Educational Centre.
The PSP reports a 21-year-old Madeiran man, living in Funchal was arrested for drug trafficking. He was carrying 24 doses of ‘Hashish’ and 54 doses of ‘Ecstasy.’ An 18-year-old man, also born and residing in Funchal, was also arrested and was found carrying 65 doses of Bloom.
In addition to these two individuals, a 15-year-old minor was also identified by the PSP, and taken to the Aldeia da Paz Foundation, in Machico, thus complying with a judicial warrant.
In a later statement, the Regional Command of PSP Madeira “warned against the harmful effects of drug taking.”
