Following complaints from concerned citizens, PAN Madeira warns of the lack of environmental responsibility of companies in the removal of Christmas decorations.

The party points out that the rip ties left on the ground in public areas represent an environmental risk as they are liable to end up in the sea. The framework underlines that community vigilance and business accountability are essential to ensure proper removal and cleanup.

Remnants of firework gunpowder left lying around in Porto Santo was also mentioned.

PAN Madeira reinforces the importance of inspection by the Regional Government, ensuring that public contracts are complied with while promoting environmental and social responsibility. The party reaffirms its commitment to a cleaner Madeira and to transparent public policies that guarantee the well-being of the population.
