From today, the 1st of December, Funchal will have another car park on Estrada Monumental.
With 82 spaces, the new Savoy Residence public carpark will ease some of the parking constraints in the area.
Located in the residential complex of the Savoy Residence, the new car park, which has about 500 spaces in total, is located at no. 344E – 348 of Estrada Monumental, floor -2, with access through the westernmost point of the development, near Travessa da Ajuda.
Open daily between 08:00 and 24:00, the park offers an affordable tariff of €1.50 per hour.
“This project represents an important contribution to the city, offering a practical solution, in a prime location, which adds value to an area with little parking, states a Savoy Signature statement.
In addition, this new park also aims to improve the experience of residents and visitors by facilitating parking in an area of intense demand.
“This initiative will contribute to urban management that values the mobility and well-being of the population,” concludes the company statement.
