Smiling broadly, the President of the Regional Government categorically refuted that any member of his executive, especially regional secretaries, suspected in the ‘Ab Initio’ operation, had resigned or made their place available, a scenario that, according to rumours lurking in the corridors of the public administration, has happened in recent weeks.
“Rumors always exist,” he began by saying, followed by a more peremptory statement: “I’m not aware of that. I am president of the Government, so I must be very wrong”, he reacted, ruling out any government instability.
