It was a busy morning at Madeira Airport, as strong winds made conditions at Madeira’s International Airport difficult.
Flights were cancelled or diverted while at lunchtime, a British Airways flight was unable to land.
From the road, the airport was very busy with many passengers opting to sit outside in the sunshine while they waited for their flights to arrive.
The airport returned to some normality this afternoon.
