A homeless individual was trying to sell a puppy for 50 euros in the centre of Funchal. Natália Vieira, responsible for ANIMAD, complained and said she is following the development of the case, which has caused indignation on social networks.
Natália Vieira considers that the situation is “regrettable,” due to the effort that has been made to promote animal welfare, saying:
“Thousands and thousands of euros are channeled to animal causes and associations in the municipality of Funchal and we still see this.”
