TAP Inflight Film Festival

TAP Air Portugal announces that the final phase of the Altitude Film Fest, its 1st Inflight Film Festival, is now taking place on board the airline’s long-haul flights, and invites its passengers to vote on their favourite films.  Voting closes on the 31st of October 2024.

This initiative celebrates the world of cinema and now offers passengers the unique opportunity to select the best short films on the aircraft’s entertainment systems.

The first edition of the Altitude Film Fest received a total of 355 entries, of which 101 were documentaries and 254 were fiction films. The first phase of film selection was carried out in July this year, by a panel of judges, composed of a distinguished group of personalities linked to the world of cinema, who selected the 10 finalists. The jury in the fiction category is composed of Leonel Vieira (Portugal), Rui Tendinha (Portugal), Ricardo Pereira (Portugal), Sónia Balacó (Portugal), Rita Nunes (Portugal), and Elisabete Mendes (TAP, Portugal).

The jury in the documentary category, includes Arthur Araújo (Brazil), Paul Visser (Netherlands), Aldo di Russo (Italy), João Antero (Portugal), Marco Calábria (Brazil), and also Elisabete Mendes, representative of TAP.
