Real Estate agents, Idealista, list of homes worth more than a million has attracted a lot of attention this summer. Although Lisbon and the Algarve are still the favourite for high priced real estate, one of the residences on the list is located in Funchal.
In a statement a spokesperson for the company said:
“Many Portuguese continue to fantasise and look for their dream house/mansion/farm on Idealista. Although they are not accessible to all pockets, more and more, users dedicate part of their free time to looking at luxury homes on the internet, becoming a new favourite ‘hobby’ of many people.”
The list features 10 houses priced at over one million euros that “have aroused the most interest among their users this summer, despite these properties not yet being sold and still available on the market.”
Madeira’s top favourite is an apartment located on Avenida do Infante. It is a 149m2 apartment and has a “spacious and bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms, two of en-suite. “The surrounding private terrace offers stunning views. The condominium has a swimming pool, gym, and gardens,” reads the advertisement for the flat which is for sale for €1,250,000.
