Only three of the eight vehicles integrated with the Porto Santo rescue service are operational.
The Regional Civil Protection Service revealed to local media outlet, JM, that it has detected situations of “non-compliance with legal obligations” of several operational means, including two ambulances and a firefighting vehicle.
Confirming the situation, the Commander of the Volunteer Firefighters, Carlos Drummond stated that the problem is being resolved.
