The SIGA network, which brings together Companhia de Ônibus da Madeira, Rodoeste and Horários do Funchal, will provide free public transport on their buses to celebrate Regional Day on the 1st of July.
The decision was formally announced this afternoon and includes all trips on any of the three bus company routes in Madeira and Porto Santo.
The new SIGA network will allow you to travel throughout Madeira Island and Porto Santo with a renewed fleet and a new image. The network buses will have a similar external image throughout the Autonomous Region of Madeira (with the exception of the HF buses, which will maintain, for now, the same image, bearing only the SIGA network logo) and have different models, which vary according to the type of service to be performed.
